Brain: Productivity is the ability to perform a
given task with minimal effort. Productivity will be on the lower side when our
resource consumption is on the higher side. Brain is the part of our body that
consumes the maximum energy. Even though, the brain weighs only 5% but it
consumption is 20% of the total energy consumption of the body. Every thought
that surfaces out from the brain is a tiny electric impulse. To enhance our productivity,
it becomes important to manage these thoughts.
Research says that on an average, brain generates 60
thousands thoughts/day. Unfortunately, most of these thoughts are random in nature.
The randomness of thoughts leads to the leakage of our energy and hence our resource.
Integral part:
Mind is supposed to be a wonderful gadget to help in our development. This
becomes the reality when one knows the technique to handle the mind. Otherwise,
there is every possibility for the mind to work against you. The first and
foremost requirement for you is to understand is that you and your mind are two
different entities. In other words, you are not your mind.
Mind takes such a dominant role that it creates a false
identity for you to believe that you are your mind. There is no distance
between you and your mind in this case. Increase and keep the distance between
you and your mind for you to get to know and manage the mind effectively.
Delusion: You
will become delusional when your identity is within the limits of the mind.
Earth appears to be flat when you are on the surface of the earth. The same
earth takes the shape of the sphere when you move far above the earth. In
similar terms, your experience and hence your perception changes when you
distance away from your own mind.
Productivity: We get an opportunity to understand the
thought patterns of the mind by keeping the distance. This understanding
provides the ability to manage the mind effectively on the long run. We waste
energy when these thoughts are unstructured & random. Productivity can be
heightened by guiding thoughts in a single stream. A gap/space between you
& the mind gives this direction.
Summary: Research
says that on an average, we generate 60 thousands thoughts /day. Brain is 5% of
body weight but it consumes 20% of the total energy. We waste energy when these
thoughts are random. Simple strategy: Productivity can be heightened by
directing thoughts in a single stream. A gap/space between you & the mind
gives this direction.
"DISTANCE AWAY FROM THE MIND THAT WARRANTS A SINGLE
LINE OF THOUGHTS FOR HIGHER PRODUCTIVITY”
